World Mental Health Day 2023: Remembering our Volunteers and Stories

TweetToday is October 10, an international day to raise awareness of mental health issues and encourage people with awareness for problems related to this issue.
With the evolution of human lifestyle and rise of technologies and artificial intelligence, the issues of mental health is becoming more crucial than ever.
Today, we would like to remember our volunteers who have supported us in our initiatives to support the communities for mental health.
Sadasha from USA
Sadasha travelled all the way from California to Kathmandu to volunteer for our psychology program. It was the mid pandemic time when she arrived in Nepal to help the people. Her support with the online helpline system and other mental health awareness programs will always be appreciated.
Afshan from Canada
Afshan joined FDIP volunteer program to help a clinic and a children home for the psychology and mental health program. She has been always very supportive and innovative to plan out the volunteer activities.
Fatima from Spain
A professional psychology counselor, Fatima, will always be appreciated for her contributions to psychology and her volunteer work in the field of mental health.
Mahekdeep from Hong Kong
Mahekdeep, who is very friendly and always expresses gratitude, will always be remembered for their contributions and support to the clinic and children's home in the realm of mental health support and awareness activities.
Shova from Hong Kong
Shova joined Mahek in supporting all the initiatives and awareness activities they had planned together to promote mental health awareness and assist those dealing with this issue.
Shane from Ireland
Shane was an incredibly compassionate and supportive volunteer. He provided local staff at a rehabilitation center in Nepal with his valuable experience in psychology and mental health professionalism.

A psychology student from Germany, all the contributions and supports from the Madita in our mental health rehabilitation center will always be remembered thankfully.

Very proactive and enthusiastic, participation of Stephen had added new energy to every programs and activities of rehabilitation center.

Always happy and smiling, our volunteer Gabby from Brazil had added extra charm to our mental health and psychology volunteer program in Nepal.
