World's Greatest Places 2024 of TIME Magazine: What’s in it For Volunteer Travelers?

On July 25th, TIME magazine enlisted World's greatest places of 2024. From best places to stay including White Desert in Antarctica or a Sanctuary in Kenya to the greatest destinations to visit like African rainforest to Nepali camps. There are a multitude of exciting places that you can put in your bucket list for your next trip.

As a volunteer trip provider operating since 2014, we are also thrilled to see some of the destinations featured by TIME. Mainly because this includes many of the countries that we have been offering to our volunteer travelers as well such as Nepal,Kenya and Thailand.

So, without further ado, let's explore what this list entails for all the international trip enthusiasts and volunteer travelers.

How TIME Chose the List of Greatest Places

To build the list TIME had opened an application that users could submit in two categories of Place to Stay and Place to Visit.

Best of all, different hotels, cruises, restaurants,  attractions and destinations were enlisted.

Why TIME Announces the Greatest Places

As an effort to recognize the world's travel attractions,  TIME annually enlists the top places in the world that travelers can explore with different purposes.

Brief description of the places to stay and visit enlisted by TIME seems to be very helpful to the travel enthusiasts who need the details of these places before making their decision.

TIME’s List of 2024 for Best Places to Stay

For travelers looking for unmatched and remarkable accommodations, TIME has recommended different places to stay around the world. From the serene Modern Elder Academy in Santa Fe, N.M., to the remote and breathtaking White Desert in Antarctica, each location offers something special.

Also, wildlife enthusiasts can experience Angama Amboseli in Kenya's Kimana Sanctuary or Bambu Indah in Ubud, Indonesia. Those looking for luxury can consider the Vermelho Hotel in Melides, Portugal, or the Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel in Italy's Amalfi. Adventurers might opt for Sun Ranch in Coopers Shoot, Australia, or Highland Base in Iceland's Kerlingarfjoll.

Furthermore, TIME has enlisted different places to stay for unique cultural experiences, travelers can stay at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq in Qatar, Sinchi Wayra in Ecuador's Yasuní National Park, or Boca de Agua in Bacalar, Mexico. TIME’s Best Places to Visit in 2024

As per the second segment of TIME for places to visit in Hawaii, the Maui Cultural Lands in Lahaina provide an enriching exploration of local heritage. Those looking for  rainforest adventures can head to the Kamba African Rainforest Experiences in Odzala-Kokoua National Park, Republic of the Congo.

Also as per this list of 2024, Bahrain's Pearling Path in Muharraq and the WA EV Network in Western Australia are perfect for cultural enthusiasts and eco-conscious travelers alike. Art and history lovers can explore Aviva Studios in Manchester, England, or Hassan Fathy's New Gourna Village in Luxor, Egypt.

Additionally, food aficionados will enjoy the Moroccan Culinary Arts Museum in Marrakech, Morocco, and Bar Magritte in Brussels.

Why this List of TIME Can be Helpful to Volunteer Travelers

Over the 10 years we have been providing volunteer programs in different countries like Thailand, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Kenya. We are glad and thankful to TIME magazine for enlisting some destinations of these countries being enlisted in The World's Greatest Places of 2024 .

We have had volunteers from Switzerland  so seeing Matterhorn Alpine Crossing from  Switzerland is exciting for us. Mine + Farm Inn, Buffalo AKG and many other places mentioned here could be a good recommendation for our volunteers from the USA, who have helped us in our programs and now back to their home country.

Also, our French volunteers would be glad to see Le Grand Mazarin in Paris,  La Maison Rabelais in Amboise in this list. Our travel enthusiasts from Spain can explore Dunas de Formentera, EDP Art Reef .

Our  volunteers from Germany can find Reverb by Hard Rock in Hamburg , Reethaus in  Berlin in the list and volunteers from New Zealand would see Mt Cook Lakeside Retreat in Lake Pukaki and Dive Tutukaka in Tutukaka.
