As a country of Mount Everest and birthplace of Lord Buddha, Nepal has always been one of the most preferred Asian destinations for the travelers around the world. The visit of celebrities holds special significance for Nepali art, culture, and tourism. Here are discussions about some Hollywood celebrities who have visited Nepal:

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio has investments in the tiger conservation area in Nepal. Due to Nepal's achievements in tiger conservation, he has applauded the country. Known for movies like "Titanic," "The Wolf of Wall Street," and "The Great Gatsby," he visited Bardia and even took pictures of the tigers there while observing the Bardia National Park.

Benedict Cumberbatch

Famous for his role in the Marvel superhero film "Doctor Strange," Benedict Cumberbatch came to Kathmandu for the film's shooting. He spent some weeks in Nepal, capturing scenes in areas like Pashupatinath, Patan, and Thamel. Alongside him, Benedict Wong and Tilda Swinton also visited Nepal for the film's shooting.

Selena Gomez

Serving as the Brand Ambassador for the UNICEF, actress and singer Selena Gomez visited Nepal in 2014. She inspected the health and education of children in some Tharu communities in Bardia and Banke.
