When I first came to Nepal, the lovely Sujan picked me up from the airport and brought me to his home. I stayed there for two nights before I went to the monastery and I have never in my life experienced such great kindness and amazing hospitality. They took great care of me, fed me delicious meals and delivered me to the monastery, special thanks to Narayan, his mother Gita and Sujan. At the monastery, I was a little confused at first, because I didn't get that many instructions" on how to teach the monks. but that faded quickly. Once the kids get over being shy, they are so very kind, curious, caring and simply adorable. They are so creative when it comes to building kites in their free time, drawing, singing and dancing or even making little movies on my phone. It's safe to say that they have stolen a piece of my heart, while I was here." They let me join in on a spontaneous little hike, playing football and visiting the "fun park" One of my favorite things though was learning about Buddhism directly from them, whenever I had a question. Most of them are so wise beyond their years and I'm. certain that they have taught me way more than I could ever teach them. This experience turned out to be the most rewarding adventure! Thank you So much from the bottom of my heart! I will miss the little chess masters a lot and can't wait for my return.
