Where will you volunteer?
Your project location is near Pokhara, a naturally blessed district of Nepal known for Annapurna Mountain and beautiful lakes like Fewa and Begnas.
You will stay inside the Monastery among the monks and kids.
Your Activities as Buddhist Monastery Volunteer
As a volunteer in a Buddhist monastery, you will immerse yourself with Buddhist culture while you explore the serene beauty of Pokhara.
Activities involve as follows:
- Join the morning and evening prayers (chants) with monks
- Teach the monk kids in the afternoon classes
- Help the senior monks and staffs to organize different activities and Buddhist rituals in the monastery
