MEDITATING!
Teaching Child Monk
Buddha Temple
BUNJEE JUMPING!
Annapurna Base Camp
During my Nepal trip, I chose to stay with locals instead of hotels, and it was totally worth it. They treated me like a their own and it felt more like being with a family from another country than being a guest.
I also spent a lot of time with child monks in a Buddhist monastery. This was the best part of the trip. I used to think monks would be very serious, but they were not. I am really grateful to spend time with them, and helping them with their study.
Outside of volunteering, I also explored other parts like Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha from where Buddhism started.
Also, returning from a Himalayan country without doing a trek wouldn’t feel complete. So I went for the Annapurna trek. It was challenging and enjoyable at same time. It helped me understand how far I can push my limits. It was a very raw experience that is difficult to describe in words.
In short, spending time in Nepal one of the greatest times of my whole life.
