The fifth element of the body, WATER!

Have you ever imagined living in a drought?

It's not even possible for us to imagine it, Right?

But it's a fact that 30% of the world's population which is approximately 2.5 billion people live in droughts affected areas. Water is a scarce and precious resource. We are privileged to have unlimited access to it. But with this, we have a responsibility to use it wisely and understand its importance.

According to many religious mythology water is the fifth element of the body among fire, air, sky, earth, water. Water is worshipped in many parts of World. It is considered to be divine. Its wastage cannot be tolerated, It's wastage may lead to disasters not today but eventually.

Let's change before it's too late! It's time now to save ourselves, to save the earth from endangerment that can be caused in the future.

Only 1% of all water is fit for human consumption. This 1% is being used by us very carelessly hence it is likely that water won't be as accessible as it is today.

On average one person wastes about 0-45 litres of water per day. Considering just 25 litres a day, we might be wasting 750 litres a month, 9000 litres a year! Which is unacceptable.

Now that we are aware of the misuse and wastage of water let's RETHINK our choices of water consumption, let's REFUSE to waste what can be saved, let's REUSE as much as we can, let's REPAIR before we REPLACE, lets REPURPOSE & REINVENT our methods.

Lookup for ways to SAVE WATER! Lookup for ideas and put those in action, spreading more awareness. Not only water, but every resource also needs to be saved.

Many animals are too facing the threat. Earth has lost 50% of its wildlife in the past 40 years. Lions, forest elephants, leatherback turtles, Hector's dolphins, sei whales all are becoming extinct. As humans, It is our responsibility to make our planet safe for all kinds of beings. As humans, it is our responsibility towards our future generations that we keep safe the natural environment, natural resources for them too.

Remember individually we are one drop, together we can be the ocean. Each one of us can make a difference. Together we can make a change. The World needs change!
